Coach Roles
Lead Coach
Lead Coach to guide transformative movement experiences through the spirit of parkour. You’ll be more than a coach — you’ll be a culture-shaper, confidence-builder, and leader in our growing community.

Description
The Movement Park is seeking an experienced and certified Lead Coach to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about movement, has strong leadership abilities, and is eager to mentor junior coaches while delivering advanced instruction to students. As a Lead Coach, you will oversee small training teams, contribute to program development, and foster a positive, safety-focused, and inclusive culture. You'll play a key role in student retention, building strong relationships, and supporting the ongoing growth of our programs and community.
Responsibilities
- Independently coach group classes, including advanced-level instruction
- Mentor and train junior coaches to uphold teaching standards and culture
- Plan and lead special events and workshops
- Deliver private lessons (with appropriate credentials)
- Assist in the development and refinement of programs and curriculum
- Oversee small training teams and manage group dynamics
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe environment
- Support facility organization and cleanliness standards
- Build strong relationships with students and families, fostering retention and engagement
- Initiate engagement in the coaching team chat a minimum of 4x per month
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to facility culture coaching
- Actively practice parkour and/or other functional movement practices
- Find and implement solutions to student training challenges independently
- Model leadership through effective coaching and mentorship practices

Experience & Certification Requirements
- 2+ years of coaching experience
- Relevant degree/certification(s) in parkour, movement, or related disciplines, or completion of one within 6 months of employment
- Experience leading advanced classes and mentoring/coaching other instructors
Parkour Coach (Part-Time)
Hillsboro, OR | $17–$20/hr
3–15 hrs/week | Evenings & weekend availability required

Camp & Events Lead (Year-Round)
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Compensation: $20.00–$25.00/hour
Schedule: Year-round, including peak summer season (4–5 days/week) and monthly evening events

The Movement Park is a Parkour facility in Hillsboro on a mission to empower kids through movement and play. Our high-energy programs—ranging from obstacle courses and themed games to Parent Night Outs and seasonal camps— are designed to build confidence, creativity, and connection.
About the Role
As the Camp & Events Lead, you’ll take a hands-on leadership role in delivering engaging, structured, and meaningful experiences for youth. You’ll supervise campers, mentor Game Masters, and ensure all programming is safe, smooth, and full of energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead camper groups, ensuring emotional and physical safety
- Supervise and mentor Game Masters and volunteers
- Facilitate games, obstacle courses, crafts, and themed activities
- Manage logistics, transitions, and camper communication
- Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers
- Set up, lead, and clean up programming with ownership and teamwork

Schedule & Commitment Requirements
- Summer Camps (June–August): Minimum 8 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- No School Day Camps: At least two single-day camps per academic quarter
- Parent Night Out: Minimum two events per quarter (3rd Saturday, 5:00–9:00 PM)
- School Break Camps: Spring Break & Winter Break (full weeks)
- Full attendance for entire events, including setup and cleanup
- Consistent, reliable year-round availability (not seasonal-only)

The Movement Park is hiring Game Masters & Group Leaders to join our dynamic year-round events team. From camps and Parent Night Outs to specialty events like Glow Crazy and Snowball Fights, this is your chance to lead, play, and make a lasting impact.

- Lead themed games, creative activities, and movement-based challenges
- Guide kids through storytelling, obstacle courses, and parkour-inspired play
- Mentor and connect with a small group of campers

We hire seasonal team members each summer to support our camps and youth programs. Year-round availability is preferred and will receive priority consideration, but seasonal applicants are encouraged to apply.
Summer Camp Counselor (Seasonal)
Season: June 15 – August 21, 2026

Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours (varies by camp)

Summer Camp Counselors help create fun, safe, and high-energy experiences for kids through movement, games, and themed activities. This role is ideal for energetic, reliable individuals who enjoy working with kids and want hands-on experience in youth programs.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and engage campers throughout the day

Member Services Roles
Member Services Coordinator (Full-Time)
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Compensation: $20.00–$25.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time — Evenings & Saturdays required

This is a mid-level leadership role for someone who thrives on systems, service, and hustle. You’ll own front desk operations, support team coordination, and lead client communications with warmth, initiative, and laser-sharp attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily front desk and client-facing operations
