  • We welcome all ages for birthday parties, and are certain we can plan fun games and movement challenges for your guests, but our facility specializes in classes for ages 3 to adult.

For safety, parties for children under the age of seven (7) years old will be strictly limited to ten participants, and each participant under the age of 7 is required to have one supervising adult on the floor at all times. To avoid crowding, we strongly recommend only one adult supervise their respective child. Supervising adults do not count towards the capacity limit.

We are always happy to help with questions, or if you have concerns about the age or ability level of your party guests. To discuss your specific needs, please contact the front desk at 503-844-8801 or email us at hello@themovementpark.com. Our front desk is typically staffed after 2 pm weekdays and 9 am on Saturdays and Camp Days.

  • Since most activities involve climbing, jumping, and/or rolling, we suggest wearing loose-fitting, comfortable clothing that won’t restrict your movement. Layers are great for colder weather, and we have cubbies for you to store discarded sweatshirts, etc. Please avoid belts, buckles, skirts, or other materials that could catch on equipment or damage the mats. If you have long hair, please bring a hair tie or wear it pulled back away from your face so you can see where you are going, and so your hair doesn’t snag (ouch!).

In terms of footwear, we recommend athletic shoes with good grip, flexibility, and support. Shoes must be flat and secure. Heavy boots with square heels, dirty shoes, high heels, and shoes that will fall off (Clogs, flip-flops, etc) are NOT allowed. We strongly recommend AGAINST wearing high-top basketball shoes as they restrict movement (especially proper form for landing from jumps), and can result in injury. While some of our students prefer going barefoot, we always recommend having proper footwear in case your toes aren’t ready for the force and friction from some of our obstacles. Please note, if you choose to forego shoes, you must have bare feet; socks are slippery (even non-skid), and are not allowed.

  • We do not offer discounts. However, monthly members who have accumulated Membership credits on their account are encouraged to use those to offset the purchase price of events they may wish to attend. We also have a VERY SMALL scholarship fund we facilitate through donations from our members. We use this fund to offset the costs of an event when one of our community members is going through an extremely difficult time. If you feel this applies to you, please contact us at hello@themovementpark.com.

  • The Base Price of your chosen party type will be processed as a deposit to secure your reservation date. Any additional charges will be processed on the day of your event once an accurate guest count is confirmed.

Our base price for a Parkour Party is $275, which includes:

    • 10 guests,

    • 2 instructors, and

    • 2 hours of facility use.

Our base price for a Nerf Party is $300, which includes everything from the Parkour Party, plus:

    • Nerf games,

    • Nerf guns (you may also bring your own), and

    • Nerf ammo.

Additional costs may apply based on the size of your party:

    • $10 for each participating guest beyond the 10 guests included, plus

    • $25 for an additional coach if parties exceed 15 participating guests. Parties may not exceed 20 participating guests.

    • Please note: Spectators and/or supervising adults do not count towards the capacity limit, but please be aware that viewing space is limited.

These charges will be processed on the day of your event once an accurate guest count is confirmed.

Damages Disclaimer: Participants shall pay for any damages to The Movement Park property which result from decorations, or the misconduct or misuse of the facilities by any member of the party.

  • • Two staff members (typically one on the floor, and one to assist in the party room),

    • The birthday person plus up to 10 participating guests,

    • Two hours of exclusive use of the facility,

    • Your choice of free time (open play), structured obstacle courses, and/or games,

    • A separate party room for food and/or gift opening, and

    • Fridge/freezer space if needed.

We Do Not Provide: Food or drinks, Plates, Cutlery, Decorations, Cake Server, Ice Cream Scoop, Candles, Matches, or a Lighter.

  • Spectators and supervising adults (required for guests under the age of 7) do not count towards the capacity limit, but please be aware that viewing space is limited.

All spectators are expected to refrain from interfering with the instruction of our staff and activities on the movement floor. Spectators must stay in the viewing area, and will not be allowed to go onto the movement floor to watch their child (except as required for supervising those under the age of 7). You may enter the floor to take a photo if you first receive permission from The Movement Park staff. Anyone entering the movement floor is required to wear flat-soled athletic shoes or move barefoot. Heavy boots with square heels, dirty shoes, high heels, and shoes that will fall off (Clogs, flip-flops, etc) are NOT allowed. If you choose to forego shoes, you must have bare feet; socks are not allowed.

The Movement Park holds full discretion of what footwear is considered appropriate and reserves the right to ask you to remove your shoes if they are found to be unsafe for you or our equipment.

  • You’ll be given access to the PARTY ROOM at 2:45pm (15 minutes prior to your party start time). This is the glass-walled room at the front of our building, and is where you can set up decorations, food, a gift table, etc. You are welcome to bring outside decorations for the party room. If you wish to hang anything on the walls, you must use painters tape. We do not allow decorations on the glass, the chalkboard wall, or in the movement areas.

Individuals will gain access to the MOVEMENT AREA (main floor and spring floor) once their waiver has been verified, typically right around 3:00pm (the party start time). You can speed up this process by encouraging your guests to fill out their waivers ahead of time!

The format of your party is flexible, and you can communicate your wishes to us prior to, or during, your party. Please don’t stress over the schedule; our coaches have run numerous parties and events for a wide range of ages and abilities. That being said, a typical party schedule usually looks something like this:

    • 10 minutes for welcome and reviewing safety guidelines,

    • 20 minutes of free play,

    • 20 minutes of a game or obstacle course,

    • 20 minutes for food &/or presents,

    • 20 minutes of a game or activity,

    • 20 minutes of free play, and

    • 10 minutes for clean-up and goodbyes

Your event will END promptly at 5:00pm (2 hours after your party start time). Our staff will remind you to start cleaning up and preparing your things during the last 15 minutes of your party. Physical activities will stop 10 minutes prior to the end time to ensure you have time for your goodbyes, to hand out goodies (if you have them), and to comfort the child(ren) who REALLY don’t want to go home. 😆 Please remember that violating any of our party rules, leaving an excessive mess/decorations for our staff to clean up, or staying beyond the 5:00pm end time may result in an additional fee.

  • Yes! You are welcome to bring outside food and beverages, but alcohol is prohibited. Please note that all food must remain in the glass-fronted party room ("The Lodge"), or be stored in the refrigerator (ask a staff member for assistance).

Food and drinks are NOT allowed on the movement floor or in the spectating areas! In addition, we ask that hands be washed with soap, and shoes checked for food residue before entering the movement floor, as oils can make the equipment slippery, and cake icing has a tendency to stick to everything!

  • You are welcome to bring outside decorations for the party room. If you wish to hang anything on the walls, you must use painters tape. We do not allow decorations on the glass, the chalkboard wall, or in the movement areas.

  • Our Birthday Parties are held on Saturdays from 3-5 pm. All reservations are first-come, first-served, and dates often fill up to three months in advance (sometimes more, sometimes less). To check for available dates, use the arrows on the calendar to scroll ahead until you see "Places Left" as a 1 (rather than a 0).

If you'd like to make a reservation, click on the date and follow the prompts. Your reservation is confirmed once payment has been provided for the base price of your party (any additional costs incurred will be charged on the party date). Please note: your email address is not saved until payment is submitted.

  • We are sorry for the inconvenience. Here are a couple possible reasons for an error message:

You may not have paid for the service yet. If you are a member trying to book via the calendar on our app, you need to purchase the service first, and then reserve your party date. For more detailed instructions, please visit our Mobile App page and scroll down to the Quick Start Guide.

The date you are trying to reserve is already booked. Our party reservations often fill three months (or more) in advance, and are first-come, first-served. To check for available dates, use the arrows on the calendar to scroll ahead until you see "Places Left" as a 1 (rather than a 0). If you receive this error message in the middle of booking, it’s likely that someone else beat you to the timeslot.

If you have checked these issues are not the cause of your error message and are still having difficulties, please contact us at hello@themovementpark.com or reach out via phone or text at 503-844-8801. Our front desk is typically staffed after 2 pm weekdays and 9 am on Saturdays and Camp Days.

  • Anyone who steps foot on the floor of the facility needs a signed participation/liability waiver on file. You will typically be asked to complete the appropriate waiver when you purchase or register for your class(es) or event(s). This applies even if you've attended previously because individual classes or event types may have different waivers. If we are missing your waiver, we will ask you to complete it upon your arrival before allowing you to participate. Minors MUST have a waiver signed by their legal guardian, so keep that in mind if you are planning on carpool or dropping your child at the door, as we don't want them to miss out on any of the fun!

  • Not typically. We don’t take marketing photos very often, and when we do, it is often difficult to see the participants’ faces and identify them correctly (especially at some of our events like Glow Crazy, where it is dark, and/or the participants are wearing costumes!). This is exactly why we have a policy requiring a release from all participants! However, if you feel your situation warrants an exception, please send an email to hello@themovementpark.com with the following:

    • Attention: Marketing,

    • The name(s) of the relevant student(s),

    • A clear photo (to be used internally for identification), and

    • A brief description of the situation.

We will flag the student’s account so that our staff know to avoid taking pictures when the student is present. While this would be prohibitively difficult for us to manage with all students, and mistakes are possible, we do realize that some situations require special care and will do our best to accommodate.

  • We often find water bottles, shoes, sweatshirts, etc., after classes or events have concluded for the day, and will do our best to notify the owner if items are labeled with a name. We will then store (most) items in the lobby for 30 days, after which they will be donated or discarded. Please be aware that The Movement Park assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen articles, so we recommend you check you have gathered all of your belongings before you leave the facility.

  • As a family-owned business, we understand that children get sick, or that your plans may change before an event date. However, due to the high demand for our Birthday Parties, we have developed the following cancellation policies which are strictly enforced:

If you inform us AT LEAST 2 WEEKS prior to your Birthday Party reservation, we can either:

    • Move your registration to another date (subject to availability), or

    • Issue you a refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee.

We are unable to reschedule or offer refunds for cancellations WITHIN 2 WEEKS of the Birthday Party reservation.

Please contact us immediately if you need to cancel or reschedule at hello@themovementpark or call or text us at 503-844-8801 after 2 pm weekdays (9am on camp days and Saturdays).

  • Appropriate Footwear: Students are required to wear flat-soled athletic shoes, or move barefoot. Sandals, boots, or slip-on shoes are not permitted. Spectators and visitors: Those who have been given permission to enter the movement area are required to wear flat-soled shoes that are free of heels or heel-lifts. While some of our students prefer going barefoot, we always recommend having proper footwear in case your toes aren’t ready for the force and friction from some of our obstacles. Please note, if you choose to forego shoes, you must have bare feet; socks are slippery (even non-skid), and are not allowed. The Movement Park holds full discretion as to what footwear is considered appropriate and reserves the right to ask you to remove your shoes if they are found to be unsafe for you, or for our equipment.

Food & Drink: Food or drink may be brought into the spectator areas of the facility when stored in a non-breakable, enclosed container. No food or drink is allowed on the movement floors.

Alcohol, Tobacco & Controlled Substances: These are not permitted anywhere on the premises.

Lost Articles: The Movement Park assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen articles. Lost and found articles that are not claimed after 30 days will be donated to charity or thrown out.

Conduct: The Movement Park is committed to the health, safety, and welfare of each of its members and staff. We will not tolerate threatening, obscene, harassing, indecent, or illegal behaviors. The Movement Park has the right to judge behavior and respond accordingly. This right includes, but is not limited to, termination of membership of any member engaging in unacceptable behavior, without a refund.

Rules and/or Regulations: Students who do not observe The Movement Park rules and regulations, or who abuse equipment in any fashion will be asked to leave. The management reserves the right to terminate the membership of anyone who refuses to observe any of The Movement Park's rules or regulations. Not all rules and regulations are listed here. The Movement Park reserves the right to add, change, or remove rules, conditions of membership, opening and closing hours, and all services and facilities offered by The Movement Park.

Damages: Students shall pay for any damages to The Movement Park property or equipment which result from the willful or negligent conduct of a student, member guest, or dependent children.
